The Asheboro ZooKeepers faced off against the Morehead City Marlins on Tuesday, June 7th. 

The game was close through the third, with Morehead City plating two while Trent Youngblood crossed the plate on an rbi single from Quinten Collins for the ZooKeepers.

In the fourth, the game opened up for the Marlins, with the team putting up four runs. 

They would continue to find success against our pitching, tacking on runs in the 6th, 7th, and 9th.

The Marlins would end the night with 15 runs on 21 hits. 

Asheboro’s run in the third would be their only run, with the team struggling at the plate last night. 

The ZooKeepers had four hits in the game, with singles from Trent Youngblood, Quinten Collins, Michael Zarrillo, and Chase Waddell. 

The ZooKeepers will look to put this loss behind them as they travel to Wilmington tonight to face off against the Wilmington Sharks.
