ASHEBORO – The Asheboro Copperheads will resume Monday night’s suspended  game with Holly Springs on Friday at 5 p.m., right before the two teams will play a seven-inning Coastal Plain League battle at McCrary Park, it was announced Tuesday.

The Copperheads, who had a 9-0 lead over the Salamanders with two outs in the bottom of the third when the game was suspended, will resume action at that point.

There will be a special concert in-between games as Lisa Blackwell State Farm Insurance presents the return of Elvis  (Wayne Euliss),  to McCrary Park for the first time in quite a number of years.
