The Asheboro ZooKeepers headed to Forest City for a noon game on Wednesday, June 29th. 

 

The ZooKeepers had the first run of the game in the top of the fourth. Bryce Marsh was able to cross the plate on a Carson Ozmer walk. 

 

Forest City tied the game up in the bottom of the sixth, scoring one run on three hits. 

 

Asheboro took the final lead of the game in the top of the seventh. With two runners on, Bryce Marsh crushed a homerun. 

 

Hunter Shuey led the ZooKeepers on the mound, going six innings, tallying nine strikeouts, and only allowing one run. 

 

The game ended with a final score of four to one. The ZooKeepers hope to build on their win streak as they take on the Lexington County Blowfish tomorrow.
