The Asheboro ZooKeepers faced off against the Forest City Owls on Thursday, July 14th. 

Asheboro was able to get on the board first, with Trent Youngblood crossing the plate. 

Three home runs in the bottom of the fourth give Forest City the four run lead. 

Ronald Evans was able to score on a Justin Wilcoxen double in the top of the fifth. 

The fifth and sixth brought each added a run for the Owls. 

The ZooKeepers were not able to come back, losing with a score of 7-2. The ZooKeepers host the Peninsula Pilots tomorrow, July 15th.
