The Asheboro ZooKeepers traveled to Florence on Tuesday, July 19th to face off against the Flamingos.

A two run homerun in the third from Drew Tyndall got the ZooKeepers on the board first.

The Flamingos tied it up in the bottom of the third with two scoring on three singles.

The momentum stayed around for the ZooKeepers, with the team adding a run in the top of the fourth on a wild pitch.

Hits from Trent Youngblood and Drew Tyndall allowed for two to score in the fifth.

Both teams added runs in the seventh, with Asheboro scoring two on pitching struggles from the Flamingos.

The ZooKeepers came out on top, winning with a final score of 7-3. The team has an off day tomorrow but hopes to stay hot when they host Forest City on Thursday, July 21st.
