After a long season of American Legion Baseball, the stage is set for the Legion Playoffs with one of the host sites being McCrary Park right here in Asheboro, North Carolina!

The teams involved are the best of the best Legion squads from all around the Southern United States. The teams involved in this area’s playoffs are Post 192 from Evans, Georgia, Post 9 from Owensboro, Kentucky, Post 284 from Belleview, Florida, Post 361 coming down from, Richmond, Virginia, Post 19 headed East from Columbia, Tennessee, Post 1 coming from Columbia, South Carolina, Post 116 staying in-state from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and the final team is Randolph County’s very own Post 45 squad.

These youngsters are all making the trek to Asheboro to try and have a chance to make their way to the American Legion World Series in Shelby later on this month. 

The hometown Post 45 will be playing their games at their normal home of McCrary Park as they look to be the last team standing.

The American Legion Playoffs will kick off on August 2nd and run through August 6th with games starting as early as 9am, so make sure to get your tickets and watch some great Legion Baseball right here in the heart of North Carolina!
