Just in time for the 2021 season, the Coastal Plain League (CPL) and subscription video streaming service FloSports will be joining forces for a global broadcast partnership to provide fans with CPL content all summer long.
FloBaseball, which now serves as the new home of CPLBaseball.tv will stream over 400 games this season to fans everywhere. FloBaseball will offer fans non-stop coverage to every CPL regular season, non-league, and playoff game, in addition to exclusive interviews and analysis.
CPL COO and Commissioner Justin Sellers has expressed his excitement toward the partnership and shares that “FloSports has been growing in popularity and by working together, we will be able to offer our fans live and archived game streams, as well as help tell our story through special features and interviews that will allow fans an inside view of all the unique and fun moments that make our league what it is.”
Running its 25th season this summer, the CPL regular season is set to start Thursday, May 27th and end July 31st. For the 2021 season the CPL will run a two-division structure split into East and West. In the East will be the Florence RedWolves, Holly Springs Salamanders, Morehead City Marlins, Peninsula Pilots, Tri-City Chili Peppers, Wilmington Sharks and Wilson Tobs. The West will include the Forest City Owls, High Point-Thomasville HiToms, Lexington County Blowfish, Macon Bacon, Martinsville Mustangs, Savannah Bananas, Spartanburgers, and your very own Asheboro Copperheads.
