The Asheboro ZooKeepers had their most dominant offensive outing of the season on Friday night in a 20-10 victory over the High Point-Thomasville HiToms at historic Finch Field, 

The Zooks tallied a season-high 17 hits and blasted five home runs to secure their fifth straight win. Asheboro also had a Little League home run for the second straight game, as Dallas Callahan delivered it in the fourth inning.

After delivering the walk-off hit for the ZooKeepers on Thursday night, Todd Hudson hit his fourth and fifth home runs of the season to lead the way for Asheboro. Dylan Driver, Jared Beebe and Zack Beach also hit a home run for the Zooks. 

Ethan Snyder got the start on the mound while Jacob Halford, Itai Spinoza and Drew Siegner all made relief appearances. 

During their five-game winning streak, the ZooKeepers have combined for 67 runs, even with two of the games ending in seven innings. The Zooks are averaging 13.4 runs per game in the last five. 

Asheboro returns to McCrary Park for its penultimate home game of the season on Saturday against the Wilson Tobs. It will be Star Wars Night and the Zooks will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
