The Asheboro ZooKeepers faced off against the Forest City Owls on Monday, June 20th. 

 

Bryce Marsh put the ZooKeepers on the board first with a solo shot in the first inning. 

 

Kennedy Jones crossed the plate on a Michael Zarrillo single in the third. 

 

The Owls found success in the bottom of the third, scoring five on four hits. 

 

Asheboro stayed consistent, scoring one more in the fourth. 

 

The ZooKeepers would be unable to put another run on the board for the remainder of the game. 

 

Asheboro would end the night with three errors. 

 

The final score was 9-3 Forest City. The ZooKeepers have an off day on Tuesday and hope to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they host the Wilson Tobs.
