South Atlantic Border Battle Returns to McCrary Park

Asheboro, NC — Baseball excitement is heading back to the heart of Randolph County this fall, as the prestigious South Atlantic Border Battle returns to McCrary Park. Scheduled for September 12–14, 2025, this elite, invite-only event will feature top East Coast prospects competing under the watchful eyes of college coaches and MLB scouts.

Event Schedule

• Friday, September 12 — “Uncommitted Game”
  A pro-style workout and showcase, culminating in an Uncommitted Game where invited players will go head-to-head in front of scouts and college coaches.

• Saturday & Sunday, September 13–14 — “South Atlantic Border Battle”
  Teams sponsored by MLB franchises, including the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland A’s, San Francisco Giants, and San Diego Padres, will compete in showcase games.
