ZooKeepers Announce Assistant Coaching Staff for Summer Season

ASHEBORO, N.C. — The Asheboro ZooKeepers are excited to officially announce the addition of three assistant coaches for the upcoming summer season: Skye Bolt, Jamey May, and Mason Bell.

Bringing a strong mix of playing experience, baseball knowledge, and energy to the clubhouse, Bolt, May, and Bell will play key roles in supporting player development and contributing to the team’s success at McCrary Park.

Skye Bolt joins the ZooKeepers with professional playing experience at the Major League level and a deep understanding of the game at the highest levels. His leadership and insight will be a valuable asset to players both on and off the field. Bolt will serve as the hitting coach and work with the outfielders throughout the season.

Jamey May, current Head Coach for Asheboro HS, adds a wealth of coaching experience and a passion for mentoring young athletes. His ability to connect with players and focus on fundamentals will help elevate the team’s performance throughout the season. May will serve as the pitching coach for the ZooKeepers in the 2026 season.

Mason Bell, finishing his final year of college baseball at the University of Southern Indiana, rounds out the staff with a strong baseball background and a commitment to player growth. His energy and attention to detail will bring an added spark to the ZooKeepers dugout and pitching staff.

Fans can catch the new coaching staff in action all season long at McCrary Park as the ZooKeepers gear up for another exciting summer of baseball.
