Ronnie Pugh


The oldest of the four Pugh brothers, Ronnie is a graduate of Asheboro High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He went to Lenoir-Rhyne and played both baseball and football for the Bears.

He has spent the past 17 years as the head coach for the Randolph County Post 45 American Legion team, winning numerous Division and Area III championships. Post 45 has captured Regional championships and qualified for the American Legion World Series in three of the past four sesons.

He and his wife (Teresa) have three boys (Aaron/wife Haley, Tyson/wife Collins and Derek/wife Taylor) and eight grandchildren (Sawyer, Jackson, Frances, Henry, Thomas, Brooks, Connor and Eli.)
