Asheboro Drops Two Straight to Martinsville

The Asheboro ZooKeepers traveled to Martinsville on Wednesday, July 13th. 

Pitching struggles from the ZooKeepers allowed the Mustangs to score two in the third and four in the fourth. 

The ZooKeepers plated four in the top of the sixth. 

A Bryce Marsh home run started off the sixth inning. The shot over the right field wall left no doubts. 

That home run was followed by hits from Carson Ozmer and Trent Youngblood. 

The ZooKeepers fell short and were defeated with a final score of 6-4. 

After giving up eleven walks on the night, the ZooKeepers hope to bounce back tonight as they face the Forest City Owls.
